The ONLY Three Reasons You Haven’t Achieved Your Goals (YET)

The ONLY Three Reasons You Haven't Achieved Your Goals (YET)Are you still struggling to achieve the goals you set for yourself?

Don’t be ashamed to admit it!

The percentage of people who set goals and fail is in the high 90%. There are so many varied and conflicting opinions, techniques and strategies floating around out there on the ‘correct’ way to set goals.

The reason most people struggle is because there is no ‘one size fits all’ for setting goals or achieving success in life. It’s the same with weight loss and diet plans. Everyone’s body type and metabolism is different, we all respond differently to different types of food and exercise.

As with setting and achieving goals, we all have vastly different life experiences, therefore we all have different belief systems. It’s these belief systems that determine the actions we take, which determines the results we get.

The exciting thing for you today is that if you have tried every goal setting system out there and still failed then there are only THREE reasons as to why this is.

It may be only one of the three reasons, it may be two or all three….BUT it’s no more than three.

Sort out all three and you can achieve ANY goal you set for yourself…ANY goal!!

Think about that for a minute.

You only have to deal with a maximum of three ‘things’ connected to your goal and it’s totally 100% achievable. Exciting eh?

Let me now share with you the only three things that are holding you back.

Ironically the acronym for this is N. I.L (Nil), meaning….sort this and there will be ‘Nil’…Nothing…Nada…to stop you achieving your goal!!

Okay, so what does N. I.L stand for?

1. Negative emotions

2. Ineffective Strategy

3. Limiting Beliefs

Any one or all three of the above will subconsciously hold you back or sabotage you in your endeavor to follow your dreams. It’s for these reasons, and after several attempts that people give up on their dreams in life.

Which is really sad!

Let’s go through them shall we?

Negative Emotions:

If you hold any negative emotions attached to the goal you are trying to achieve, chances are you will fail in your attempt. Negative emotions can come in many forms. The main ‘Big Four’ are Anger – Sadness – Fear and Guilt.

A point to remember here is, that these emotions are in most cases subconscious, meaning that you are not consciously aware of them.

Ineffective Strategy:

This one is pretty obvious, but as Tony Robbins put it, “Are you heading east looking for a sunset?”

When you want to achieve something the fastest surest way to get there is to find an expert or someone who has achieved what you are looking to achieve and model (copy) them to the letter. They’ve already done it, so who better to model or take advice from.

Limiting Beliefs:

This for me is the ‘Biggy’. This is why some goal setting techniques work for some people but not for others. I mean think about it. If you gave a group of people the exact same step by step instructions, a blue print for achieving a certain goal, why is it that some would head straight out and achieve the goal with no hitches, yet some would fail miserably?

How is that possible?

The reason is that they each have different subconscious beliefs relating to the achievement of that goal. The people with limiting beliefs attached to this goal will (subconsciously) self sabotage every single action they take. They will then usually justify that failure by blaming external circumstances.

I hope that you are now at least inspired by discovering that if you have been struggling to achieve a specific goal, that there are only three possible obstacles in your way.

Get rid of the negative emotions, get rid of the limiting beliefs and source an effective strategy, and you’re good to go, bullet proof, ready to rock.

Get out there and create the life you truly deserve and are totally capable of.

Health, Wealth and Happiness…Always
